The School Festival is having its opening ceremony today, pronouncing the start of the Festival that is to go on for from May 26 to May 29. There are many contents ready to enjoy, including the events at the main stage with celebrities. The Minju Plaza in front of Woo Dang Hall was already filled with music and food, with the booths set up by many clubs since the morning of the first day.

There are also freshmen from each majors who are busy preparing for their makeshift bar fundraisers. These fundraisers are one of the biggest events of the year for the first-years and these two-day bars will light up the evenings on campus.

The School Festival also provides chances for campus organizations such as Human Rights Committee for the Disabled (HRCD) to promote their work through entertaining events. On 26 and 27, HRCD is holding the “Blind Cocktail” booth which will enable visitors to share the daily life with a disability. The booth also provides wine-ades for the participants. “Diverse school members also participated for this year’s real ‘accompaniment’,” said Godaegonggamdae.

The scheduled main stage events for today are the opening ceremony with special MCs, the actor Choi Chang Yeop and the 2010 Miss Korea Jung Sora. Starting at 7:00 P.M., the Witch Hunt will begin, having the actual talk-show from JTBC as the motif. The special guest for Witch Hunt is the Cosmopolitan Feature Editor Kwak Jung Eun, adding to the similarity of the main event to the show.
