The Engineering Education Innovation Center (EEIC) has been providing writing and speaking clinics for science and engineering students since March. The clinics are open to any science and engineering students who submit application forms prior to desired time of session. The EEIC has been providing this clinic since March 10 and the service will continue until June 10.

“Various kinds of troubles with Korean communication can be looked after through one-on-one counselling at the writing and speaking clinic,” the EEIC says. The clinics are perfect for those who are having a hard time giving public speech and writing formally. The one-on-one counselling gives the participants the time to get coached for overcoming nervousness during class presentations and provide guidelines for starting a term paper and self-introductory essay for job resumes.

Not only are the clinics for those to lack Korean communication skills, the clinics are also for those who wish to upgrade their presentations. The counsellors also give tips for delivering a more fluent and humourous presentations required in classes. The sessions are very flexible in terms of contents, as the counsellors help solve problems that applicants confess to, if it is within the field of Korean communication.

Each 30-minute session is taken on Monday and Tuesday every week, between 12 to 2 in the afternoon. For those who wish to participate, you simply need to download the application form from the email sent out through the portal.korea.ac.kr and submitt to th EEIC email.
