Attracting hundreds of job seekers, Korea University (KU) Career Odyssey Festival is taking place from September 3 to September 5. The fair is held at Hwajeong Tiger Dome, with a myriad of corporations taking part in. More than 200 firms including Hyundai Group, Lotte Group, and Korean Air offer first hand consultations, seminars, and events to enthusiastic job seekers. Moreover, multinational corporations such as Microsoft and Mitsubishi also take part in job seekers' odyssey to landing an occupation. Anyone is welcome to visit the festival, but entering events are only for KU students.

In addition to such programs, the festival proceeds with three main themes for each day. The first day's theme is "Composing Enticing Resumes". The second day's is "Mastering Job Interviews.” On the last day, job seekers will be given a chance to promote positive self-image through lectures provided under the theme of "Promotion of Positive Image Making.”

The job fair mesmerized hundreds of job seekers on the first day alone. "I am thankful for this opportunity,” says Kim Ye Na ('04, Food and Resources Economics) "Through this job fair, I was given a chance to evaluate how competitive I am in job seeking." Kim comments that she will visit the fair on the next day and the following day too.

The festival starts from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. Shuttle buses are provided for anyone reluctant to visit the fair for its rather distant location. The route for shuttle buses is as follows: University Press and Garage (Anam Dormitory Gate) → North Gate → KU Lyceum → College of Political Sciences & Economics, West Gate → Sciences Campus, West Gate → College of Medicine → Nokgee Stadium → Korean Studies Hall → University Press and Garage (Anam Dormitory Gate).
