On November 8, which was the 2018 Fall Choo Choo Day, startups visited Korea University (KU) to demonstrate how they developed. Held by KU Business School (KUBS) Startup Station since spring in 2017, Choo Choo Day is a demonstration day in which the venture companies present their business models. This fall, six startups from six different fields joined the event, which are: INSPIRE, Purple Gorilla, KIDOP, Picasso, Motion & Posture and Studio LinK.

The first presentation was given by INSPIRE, the company that provides a service named HaoDoc,which helps Chinese living in South Korea search clinics and hospitals. Kim Seung Bum, a student of Yonsei University and the representative of INSPIRE, explained that the service delivers hope to Chinese in pain with actual reviews. Purple Gorilla then continued the presentation by describing that they aim to help people have an adequate protein intake as one of the efficient methods to exercising.

Other than investors and industry officials, anyone including KU students could took part in the event. Indeed, many KU students came and participated in the event today. Choo Choo Day will serve as an opportunity for the students to come and meet the startups with outstanding creativity and high business potential.
