On September 5, a program on individual media creator businesses was held in the CJ Creators Library (CCL), located at the Central Plaza. The lecture was given by a digital influencer and artist at DIA TV, Kim Tae Min. It centered on learning about the Multi Channel Network (MCN), an entertainment agency that manages and distributes the online content of individual broadcasters.

Kim explained the role of a creator and gave an overview of MCN’s current situation. He mentioned during the session, “Out of everything, the most important factor is your own special idea.” Korea University (KU) has teamed up with DIA TV, a channel run by CJ E&M that specializes in individual media business. Their collaboration will offer students insight into the rising market of individual media based on online platforms such as Youtube or Afreeca TV.

The lectures are held every Tuesday and Thursday, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. until October 31 and students can sign up to participate on the KU Library website. CCL is quickly evolving into an interactive space where students can reach out for resources to draw blueprints for their future careers.
