From March 17 to March 28, the Korea University Student Association (KUSA) will host a group purchase project with help from TownUs, an online corporation that specializes in group purchases. There are over 300 items for sale, which are primarily comprised of necessities, including bleach, hair brushes and laptop pouches. To make a purchase, one has to access the link provided by TownUs, go to the KU section under the Town Truck banner and choose which items to buy. Those who make a purchase can pick up their products, which will be brought to the People’s Square via a TownUs delivery truck, on March 30 from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.

“After TownUs approached us with the plans for this project, we decided that it would be beneficial to KU students and provided TownUs with online promotion materials and the location for the delivery.” KUSA Vice President Kim Bohyeok (’14, Political Science and International Relations) clarified. He emphasized that the group purchase aspect of the project was the main attraction for KUSA. “Group purchases allow students to acquire necessities for a cheaper price than usual, which will hopefully alleviate the burden that comes from their living expenses,” Vice President Kim noted. More information of the project can be found on the KUSA Facebook page.
