On March 22, Korea University (KU) Center for Integrated Support, headed by Professor Choi Hyuk, was chosen as the “2016 Integrated Support Center for Small and Medium-Sized Business.” The purpose of the designation is to provide support for development of integrated technology.

Accordingly, KU Integrated Support Center will participate in uncovering tasks for integrated medical technology, as well as planning and constructing the ‘single window service infrastructure’ in order to support the Research and Development (R&D) business link. It will also support small and medium-sized businesses for the duration of this year.

From now on, KU Integrated Support Center will provide aid for small and medium-sized businesses who wish to receive help and advice on their business ideas. The center will analyze each willing enterprise’s integration of ideas and technology, and its business value to help out with the on-site business planning.

Professor Choi said, “Through this center I hope that domestic small and medium-sized medical device businesses will be able to fortify their competitiveness by materializing their technology ideas and in turn find their way into domestic and international markets.”
