On November 11 and November 13, the Korea University (KU) Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) held a special program for both undergraduate and graduate school students. The program was held twice in the form of a workshop, the first one aimed at college of natural science students and the second one for social science enrollers.

The workshops were notable in that they were held by the professors of KU themselves. On November 11 at 12 P.M. to 1:30 P.M., the initial workshop was held at Hana Square. Professor Yang Chan Woo (Department of Mathematics) led the workshop, lecturing on the methods of solidifying knowledge on the basics of mathematics.

Meanwhile, on November 13, the second workshop opened at the Central Plaza, which was instructed by Professor Oh Sook Hee (Department of Sociology). The lecture focused on the procedures and methodologies that should be utilized when writing a college-level report or paper. Moon Daeun (’15, Political Science and Economics) said, “The workshop was beneficial, in that it provided us with the opportunity to learn how to utilize the knowledge that we obtained, rather than informing us with the knowledge itself.”
