TEDxKoreaUniversity (KU) hosted Project “Story of Acquaintance” on November 10, at the 4.18 Memorial Hall. The program was designed to give KU students the opportunity to hear the stories of and bond with three lecturers.

The first speaker was Eur Jun Kyu, the youngest teaching faculty ever to be employed by Etoos Education. As a successful entrepreneur, teacher, columnist, and senior of KU Food and Resources Economics, he shared the story of his life by talking about the diverse experiences he engaged in.

The second lecturer, Yang Seung Chan, recalled on the most memorable and influential episodes that contributed in him becoming the sommelier of the German Mosel Wine Association. His interest in wine sparked as he joined the wine club in his undergraduate days; he persistently developed and invested in his hobby to eventually become a renowned expert.

Won Jun Ho, the representative of Comove, was the last speaker to decorate the program. Comove is a social venture most widely known for Zombie Run; it seeks to transform games into real life enjoyable activities. Won talked about what motivated him to incorporate games and reality, and also iterated upon his learnt wisdom of life.

TEDxKoreaUniversity prepared this event to spread worthy ideas within KU and transform, connect, and build them up with many people altogether. “The untypical stories of typical people—heart thumping stories are on their way to you,” TEDxKoreaUniversity said on its official Facebook page, announcing the event.
