With Chuseok holidays starting from September 26 until 29, the Student Welfare Service Committee of Korea University (KU) prepared bus services for students who live far from Seoul. As many would already know, it is a Korean tradition to visit relatives and spend time together during Chuseok holidays, so many students of KU go back home during this short break.

However, the transportation costs are certainly not cheap for students, which is why the KU Student Welfare Service Committee decided to provide such bus services. All buses leave from the People's Square on September 25, 2:00 P.M. Tickets can be bought and reserved until September 24, 11:59 P.M. through the KU Student Welfare Service Committee website (www.kuwell.net) or by visiting its office at the Student Union Building room 317. The office is open on weekdays from 12:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Additional inquiries can be made by contacting it by phone on 02-926-8757 or 010-4163-3896.

Bus routes, stops, and respective costs are available on the committee's website. It covers most of the regions in Korea where people live, being a helpful source of information. Moon Hyun Seung ('13, Electrical Engineering) happily said, "It is great that students who originally live far away from Seoul can go home at a cheaper price." The bus ticket prices are approximately 10000 won cheaper than open market prices and about 4000 won cheaper than selling prices.
