The School of Industrial Management Engineering is opening a Business Analytics Education on Saturdays from June 13 to July 11 in Room 564 of the Korea University (KU) Main Engineering Building. This program will focus on nurturing future talents with data-driven analytics ability in preparation for the ever-growing big data. From introduction to the basic theories of business analytics to actual simulation, the five-week program is fruitfully scheduled.
 
The program will be led by three KU Professors, who will provide expansive and in-depth lectures each week. One of them is Professor Kim Sung Bum (Industrial Management Engineering), who said, “Since we live in a big data world, where the data companies possess is increasing infinitely, we hope this course of study will help future engineers and business staffs to learn and directly apply their skills in the field.” They are waiting for active application until June 10.

Open for hands-on workers, engineers, managers, and strategists who deal with mass data, the program will offer useful knowledge, since it will teach both macro and micro perspectives of the field.
