Korea University Division of International Studies (KUDIS) held its annual second Sports League on May 5. Taking place at Green Field, the event was held from 12 P.M. to 4 P.M.A total of 42 people, including the freshmen, sophomores, andeven more upperclassmen participated, making this day a memorable event.

There were mainly 5 tournamentswhich are as follows: Balloon Popping, Queen Dodge Ball, Foot Baseball, Flag Football, and KUDISympics. The participants were divided into either the red or the green team and each team received points when winning a tournament. One of the tensest games was the relay in KUDISympics, as it was a pitched battle between the two teams. During the whole sports event, the participants showed joy on their faces as they competed against each other with big smiles on their faces. Not only did they relieve their stress through active sports, but also bonded with each other.

The people who put in the most effort into the event is the KUDIS Student Council Bud Organizing Department. “We designed the sports day in a way that the freshmen, sophomore, and upperclassmen could build a strong bond together through participating in active sports,” Yoon Yeosang (’14, International Studies), the chief organizer said. The event turned out to be a big success but the preparing process was not so easy. “Last year’s sports day was cancelled due to the weather conditions, which meant that neither I nor the members of the organizing department had an experience participating in it. We had to decide on which events to include solely through our insights. I’m really glad everyone had a great time,” added he.
