The successful installation of elevators in the College of Law Annex Building at Korea University (KU) was made possible through a donation of 110 million Korean Won (KRW) contributed by alumni, professors, and current students from the School of Psychology. The College of Law Annex, which comprises four floors and a basement level, previously lacked an elevator. The accessibility lift frequently experienced malfunctions, thereby impeding the mobility rights of individuals with disabilities. In response to this issue, the Korea University Student Union (KUSU) proposed significant changes to improve the conditions within KU. The proposal was ultimately resolved through a generous donation, especially by the members of the School of Psychology.

During the Elevator and Ramp Construction Completion Ceremony of the College of Law Annex on August 25, 2023, Kim Dong-One, the president of KU, expressed gratitude to the School of Psychology for their assistance in finding a solution for students with physical disabilities. President Kim expressed hope that the installation of an elevator in the College of Law Annex Building would improve mobility rights and educational opportunities for all individuals, including those with disabilities.
