Hosted by the OJEong Resilience Institute of Korea University (KU), the Sustainable Development Goals Youth Academy (SYA) Summer School is currently accepting applicants who are interested in the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Over the course of five days, different renowned experts and practitioners, including a KU professor, will provide up-to-date information on the current advances being made to accomplish SDGs 6, 7, 9, 11, and 17. Additionally, it will highlight the role of young people and their organizations in ensuring the full realization of a sustainable world.

While the lectures will be carried out entirely in Korean, there are no limitations in terms of major and, given its online format, people can join from any location. To further incentivize participation, those who show full attendance to the summer school will be allotted five points that they can use if and when they apply to the SDG Facilitator program hosted by the same organizations. This program gives students a chance to do on-the-ground work related to SDGs, through which they can expand their network by getting to know and even partnering with UN institutions and other non-governmental organizations (NGO).

Those interested can apply until July 29 through the QR code included in the poster, after which classes will start on August 31.
