Korea University (KU) hosted the 59th Crimson Master’s Concert on September 16 at the Inchon Memorial Hall. The concert featured music pieces of Bach, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Beethoven, and other prominent figures of classical music. Cellists, violinists, and violists were highlighted, with configurations ranging from solo to duo, and quartet to octet. KU’s Crimson Master’s Concert is held three to four times every year to show gratitude to its sponsors. Moreover, students, graduates, and faculty are allowed to attend the concert and enjoy the pleasing harmony of classical music.

According to several KU graduates at the concert, every performance was followed by a loud cheer and a tremendous applause that showed respect to the musicians. KU also officially stated that the 60th Crimson Master’s Concert is expected to be hosted late this December 2022, with the specific date to be announced in November. Amidst the return of face-to-face social events, the Crimson Master’s Concert will also continue to amuse the eyes and ears of audience.
