“The show must go on

The show must go on

Inside my heart is breaking

My makeup may be flaking

But my smile, still, stays on”

- “The Show Must Go On” (1991)

Famously known as a classic Queen song, “The Show Must Go On” perfectly encapsulates the unremitting spirit that one must push through with what they are doing despite all problems and obstacles. Signaling a new beginning after The Granite Tower’s (GT) 2021 finale Curtain Call, the March issue focuses on major events that may become the crucial backbone of the new year.

Analyzing behind-the-scene mechanics of the 2022 Korean Presidential Election, our Cover Story uncovers a multidimensional investigation into the country’s political realm. With the election approaching on March 9, we hope this article provides you accurate insight and aids your decision-making. In our Feature articles, we address tragic events that deserve greater spotlights in order for justice to be properly served and for those in dire situations to keep fighting with newfound hope.

With having guest reporters as the new tradition of GT, two international students – one of them as a returning author – are once again invited to discuss their personal stories regarding mistakes. We hope you enjoy the March issue and celebrate the coming of the new year with GT.
