Korea University's (KU) College of Medicine along with eight esteemed medical schools has established the Global Alliance of Medical Excellence (GAME). The students of GAME announced the need to raise awareness regarding the need for emergency oxygen response investments to patients of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) at the 76th United Nations (UN) General Assembly. Among the various topics covered during this conference, GAME highlighted the worldwide issue of unequal provision of medical services between different regions.

Medical students are actively taking a stand for the issue regarding less developed countries' (LDC) inability to access medical oxygen. They have gathered to raise funds, start campaigns, and pen this activism effort as the Declaration by Future Doctors of the GAME. According to KU News, they have claimed that "even in this very moment you are spending whilst reading this article, 31 individuals are dying from COVID-19 and 24 people from pneumonia. Many of their lives could have been saved if they had access to medical oxygen." As a result, the College of Medicine’s association with GAME symbolizes the dedication of KU students towards protecting the value of humanity and respecting life regardless of origin.
