— Crossing the Threshold into Adulthood

What is the biggest transition when you become an adult? Being able to drive and to drink are massive changes when you reach adulthood and represent quintessential prerogatives of growing up. However, crossing the threshold into adulthood leads to another, even more meaningful change: an increase in financial responsibility and freedom. As young adults, university students gain more control than ever over the amount of money they spend, how much they earn, and where they earn that money. Regarding this tremendous shift in money management, The Granite Tower (GT) asked 103 Korea University (KU) students about their financial activities in an anonymous survey.
