Alas, the jolly winter holiday has passed and university life awaits. The Granite Tower(GT) has also become busy again in order to prepare this month’s magazine for the new students as well as the current Korea University (KU) students.

From this month, this particular section will be written by each Associate Editor and we will give couple of words of wisdom or share a few words or so. Without more being said, the words of wisdom of March is, “Do not be afraid to believe in your self!” Many people say, “Always believe in yourself” but this is actually harder than most people think it is. There are so many people who are afraid to really go after what they want because they think that they will fail. This is why many choose to stick with the safe path—the one told to take by others. This way, when failed, it would be less disappointing because it was not a goal set up by the self. However, instead of being a coward, try to take baby steps. After all, we are still young.

So, in parallel to this month’s cover theme, “Youth”, let us embrace all our mistakes and just do what our heart tells us to do. Let us not be afraid of taking chances and opportunities even if we might fail in the end. Let us be confident and proud despite what the others tell us otherwise.
