Corporate sustainability refers to a business approach that emphasizes the need for corporations to demonstrate socially-aware behavior, including the establishment of a green environmental strategy, transparency in the social, cultural, economic environment, and so forth. Thus the term can be seen as an evolution of terms such as “corporate social responsibility,” commonly used to describe ethical corporate practices.
