On September 27, the third game of the Annual Ko-Yon games, ice hockey, took place. The intense game resulted as a draw between Yonsei University (YU) players and Korea University (KU) players, with the scores holding two to two. This year's hockey game was especially intense and exciting as the KU team was very close to winning the game. After the second playoff, KU was winning by two to one. Unfortunately, YU was able to score after making many attacks on the KU team. Even if KU did not win, the draw was significant because KU was able to break out of the spell of losing consecutively for 12 years.

Park Gye Hoon ('11, Physical Education), the goalkeeper, especially amazed the crowd with his calm and collected play. For the three play-off, Park managed to block many attacks from YU players. It was due to his successful performance that KU could have a draw in the game. In fact, at one point of the game, all the KU students shouted his name in order to show their support for the player.

As competitive sports games can get, the ice hockey match was very vivacious. Increased by the speed of skating, the game quickly escalated and players body-checked with each other.  However, there was no bench clearing or any major injuries resulting from fights.

When asked about the game results the director Kim Hee Woo said, "I am a bit disappointed because our team could have won but I am very sure that we will do better next year because all players have lots of potential."  The director also added that from next year, they will focus more on recruiting new players as most of the current players are in fourth year.
