According to Dong Ah Ilbo and Channel A, Korea University (KU) has been selected as one of the top universities and ranked the first place on Dong Ah Ilbo’s “Chungnyun Dream University Evaluation”. The rank was determined based on diverse factors of universities’ competitiveness including the graduates’ employment rate. Such outstanding outcome shows that KU has made a constant effort to pave diverse ways for students’ future and actively support their employment.

 

The primary purpose of the evaluation is to examine how influential and responsible universities are to students in terms of students’ lives after graduation, such as employment. The evaluation, which was based on outcomes of surveys done by students, contains five fields and 13 indicators. Unlike other university evaluations and surveys which heavily focus on researches and studies, the evaluation held by Dong Ah Ilbo has put its emphasis on students’ opinions and lives.

 

Each department’s constant effort and the KU Career Development Center’s high level of programs and services have greatly contributed to the great achievement made by KU. The center has been providing diverse career enhancement programs that are suitable for individual students. The programs include lectures, workshops, and camps. They not only support enrolled students, but also help graduates who are suffering with their future careers.
