May is a month of family. The word “family” holds an ineffable significance that warms the heart. The word “mother” holds even more emotions. The Granite Tower (GT) Photo Division has looked into the life of a working mom, who struggles every day to achieve perfection in both work and family life. Though you might be lost in carrying out daily routines, take a minute to notice what beautiful effort mothers along with fathers put in to keep a family intact.

1. Kim Min Woo (7, Seoul), excited by the Photo Division’s visit, runs into the room to get his stuffed animals. Lee
Eun Kyung (37, Seoul) watches Min Woo with complicated feelings.
2. Lee is a yoga teacher and also a mother of Min Woo. In this photo, Lee talks to one of her members in the health
club before the class begins.
3. Lee is teaching new moves to the members.
4. The class struggles to follow the new moves.

5. The Photo Division visited Lee’s house to see what her daily life was like. Right at the doorsteps are cute little shoes of Min Woo.
6. There is a whole set of educational books. On the top shelf are memorable items that Lee keeps; you can see origami that Min Woo made, and a souvenir from Thailand in the far left side.
7. Lee prepares some apples for GT reporters to eat.
8. Min Woo is watching Howl’s Moving Castle, which is one of his favorite movies. He has been on a trip to an ostrich farm in the morning and is resting.
9. Min Woo kept chewing his nails while watching the movie, so Lee takes him to the bathroom to cut his fingernails.

10. Since Min Woo has been playing for the whole day, Lee persuades him to study just one page of his book, and looks over his writing.
11. Gratefully, Lee treated the Photo Division with a light meal.
12. Lee is washing the dishes, which is one of her most frequent chores.

13. While Lee was washing the dishes, Min Woo bumped into the bookshelf. Lee came to see what happened, and is comforting Min Woo.
14. Like any child, Min Woo quickly recovered from his injury and starts running around the room with his stuffed rabbit.
15. Min Woo has lots of toys, but he wanted the Photo Division to take photos of his stuffed animals. He has even named all of his stuffed animals.
