On April 11, the president of Korea Manner School, Lee Mi Sun held a lecture, “Manners for Healthy Personal Relations,” from 5 P.M. at Korea University (KU) Centennial Memorial SAMSUNG Hall Conference Room. Lee published various books on how to maintain deep, long-lasting interactions and relationships including Interact with Reason and Approach with Warm Heart, Techniques of Interaction, Lee Mi Sun’s six senses, Being Active and Sometimes Being Confident. The conference room was filled with comfortable, friendly, yet energetic atmosphere.

In the lecture which is part of University Plus series hosted by KU itself,, Lee presented the importance of greeting attitudes. She emphasized that eye contacting is extremely crucial. Eye contact, according to Lee, is one of the ways to show one’s interest and effectively deliver one’s feeling. Lee said, “Greetings often open and shine one’s mind, eventually leading individuals to the world of happiness.” She also explained that we should maintain attitudes rather as listeners than speakers. Respecting and understanding speakers are important and while speaking, we should express in a positive manner.

At the end of the lecture, Park Sang Ho, one of the members of the audiences and an attending student of KU graduate school, said, “It was interesting to learn about manners and attitudes that will be needed for my future after graduation, and I hope KU holds many other useful lectures for students.”
