On April 1, Korea University (KU) Library held its fourth library story and invited Kim Mi Kyung, a renowned lecturer who was known for her biting remarks to the wandering twenties. Kim was recently swept in a scandal about her thesis statement for her Master’s degree. However, despite her scandals, she identically delivered her message with her peculiar carping tongue.

The lecture’s theme was “Become a dream walker and live your life to the fullest.” It was very similar to her normal lectures but still had powerful impact on KU students in how they should structure their lives and fulfill their dreams. “Dream and goals are not the same. You fulfill your goals but dreams are not meant to be fulfilled but to live,” said Kim. Kim continued, “Job and dream does not necessarily match either. When you have a dream, job is just means of getting closer to it.”

Students in Korea rarely got the chance to think about their dreams and their future with the pressure of getting into a good college. Now that students of KU entered one of the most prestigious universities, many are confused of what their actual dreams are. “Do not be insecure about getting a job. You have more than 40 years left! Dream and work for you dream.

The question, “What do you want to do in spring?” was given out of the blue but it did give tingle of excitement for every students. “To achieve your dream, you must move your body and keep working. Remember, dream is an option but it allows you to live your life to the fullest,” exclaimed Kim.
