From September 25 to 27 the “Open Pompidou” hosted by Korea University’s (KU) Club Union was held in the Student Union Building.

The purpose of this newly launched project was to revive the cultural talents and insights of students within the campus. In this sense, this event was called “Open Pompidou” referring to “Centre Pompidou,” the arts and culture center located in Paris, France. In this event, 50 school clubs participated; and out of the 50, eight clubs took part in the finale performance held on the 27th from 6:20 P.M. On the large stage set up in front of the Student Union Building, the eight clubs showed off their talents under the flashy lights arousing the loud cheers of KU students. Starting off by a pleasant sound of the piano, the finale performance offered a variety of entertainments of sports dance, street dance, and a harmonious a cappella. The President of KU’s Club Union Lee Anna (’08, Physical Therapy) said, “I give my special thanks for all the staffs and school clubs who helped make this project come to a success. I hope the students also have enjoyed it much.”
