As the Annual Ko-Yon Games are approaching, students are having a difficult time hiding their anticipation towards this year’s events that will take place during the week of Annual Ko-Yon Games. The events provided by the Korea University Students’ Association (KUSA) include Blood Giving Ko-Yon Games, Purple-ting, joint cheering orientation, and Cyber Ko-Yon Games. The Blood Giving Ko-Yon Games was planned by the KUSA in a joint effort with Korea University Social Service Association (KUSSA), and took place from September 11 to September 13 in the People’s Square and the Nobel Square.

The joint cheering ceremony is held at Sinchon this year. Students from both schools will gather at Yonsei University (YU), practicing cheers of both schools. They will be given an opportunity to learn new cheers and promote team spirit. The event will take place on Thursday at 5 P.M.

Purple-ting is planned by the KUSA and Yonsei University Student Association (YUSA), in which students from both schools pair up with a different gender in order to complete missions provided. The student associations from both schools are anticipating a heightened friendship between the two schools from the event. The event will take place at Jamsil Main Stadium right after the baseball game on September 14. Anyone who is interested is advised to fill out a registration form and send it to purple_ting@naver.com.
