Paju

Bus 2200 makes an exit from the highway, and a placard that reads “Paju, the City of Peace” comes into sight. As The Granite Tower (GT) Photo Division journeyed from Heyri Artvalley to Paju Book City—two of the city’s many unique villages—this self-created image of a peaceful city not only proved right, but it was the overriding impression that every one of its buildings, streets, and corners gave off. Heyri Artvalley, where urban architecture embraces nature wisely and beautifully, and Book City, a publishing cultural community created with the aim of recovering “the lost humanity” welcome and comfort first-time and frequent visitors alike.
