On October 30, an Ice Hockey University League (U-League) was held in Korea University (KU) Ice Link, hosted by Korea University Sport Federation (KUSF). KU and Yonsei University (YU) competed for the game’s victory starting from 7:40 P.M.

From the beginning, players of each team aggressively participated in the game, and several physical fights occurred during the match. In the fifth minute only, YU had the first goal, making the first period’s score 0-1. As the second period continued, YU scored three more goals. Due to the overheated competition, there was even a huge scuffle between the teams during the period, so a ten-minute break was given. This stirred up the audience; they came to high words and judges were blamed for their controversial referee decisions.

The game finally ended in 2-7 as YU’s victory, with three more goals from YU and two more goals by KU. At the match, there were several clashes among players, resulting in longer game time. Although KU was defeated in this game, KU Ice Hockey team is hoping to return in triumph in the next game.
