On September 6, the Annual Ko-Yon Ice Hockey Game between Korea University (KU) and Yonsei University (YU) was held in Mok-dong Ice Rink. The game started at 2:00 P.M. and ended up with YU’s victory, with the final score 1-4.

The first period started with a face off and both teams competed fiercely, not giving any points to each other. However, when the second period began, YU players became more aggressive than before. The number of shots made by them increased than the first period; and Jeong Hyeon-jin (‘19, YU) made a first goal. Although KU gained a point by Sin Sang-yoon (’16, Physical Education), Oh In-soo (’18, YU) also made one more goal, making the total score 1-2.

The game finally ended in 1-4 as YU’s victory with Kim Geon-woo (’18, YU) and Chae Jeong-oh (’17, YU) scoring another two points during the third period. YU players threw up their helmets in the sky and had a ceremony with a smile. Although KU was defeated this year, KU Ice Hockey team still has a hope to return in triumph in the next Ko-Yon Games, after making up for the weak points occurred in this game.
