Sports Culture in KU

Korea’s 2018 Asian Games have successfully drawn to a close with medalists returning home with a total of 177 medals. Among them, the gold medal for Men’s Soccer is considered to be one of the most invaluable achievements due to its climactic gain. Since the tournament, Korean soccer players such as Lee Seung-woo and Son Heung-min have been inspiring a lot of people to be interested in not only the national soccer squad but also Korea’s professional soccer league, K-League. Just as the competition itself has in some aspect raised the levels of interest among the general public, The Granite Tower(GT) thought the upcoming Annual Ko-Yon Games could attract students of Korea University (KU) to the field of sports. GT collected responses from 151 students to see what they think about numerous issues related to sports in KU.
