On September 30, the Fall Student Representative Meeting was held in the 4.18 Memorial Hall with 75 out of 103 participants attending, successfully opening the session. The meeting started with the school magazines’ reports on settlement of accounts. Questions and answers regarding their statement of accounts were exchanged between the participants and the Kodaemunhwa, the Suksoon and the Committee of Autonomous Media representatives.

The meeting proceeded with the next item on the agenda, which is the reporting of The Special Central Steering Committees. The Special Committee for Space Measures first reported its activity, and the Question and Answer (Q&A) session followed. Kim Tae Gu (’12, Business Administration), the President of the Korea University Student Union (KUSU), summed up that as soon as the Communication Building issue is solved, the committee is going to start to focus on the problems related with space measures of the Science and Engineering Campus. The three report items ended with the Special Committee on Budget and Account’s report.

The President of the College of Education pointed out that there were not any reports on Yiman-Chongchong Task Force (TF) team’s activity and the President of School of Interdisciplinary Studies suggested immediately proposing it as an agenda of the meeting. However, due to the fact that the related discussions are still ongoing, the agenda was withdrawn. Kim explained why it was difficult to bring the agenda to the meeting and summarized the TF team’s past activities and its future plan.

Furthermore, through this meeting, the members of the Central Steering Committee and its budget settlement were both approved. Agendas on revising the KUSU Bylaws and election policies were also discussed and all approved, ending the meeting around 10:00 P.M.
