On September 3, a temporal Korea University (KU) Student Representatives Meeting took place in the 4.18 Memorial Hall. The meeting mainly focused on two agendas—the creation of autonomous rules for university exchange events, and the approval on the general amendment of the KU Student Association (KUSA) rules.

The autonomous rules were drafted by KUSA and the Yonsei University (YU) Expansionary Steering Committee. The rules were provided as a guideline for many main agents participating in exchange programs between universities, especially in the moments of crisis. The rules were designed to counteract various accidents and sexual crimes. Ma Tae Young, the President of YU Female Student Association stated, “These rules were drafted in the hope that they would function as a manual to prevent further accidents.”

The meeting proceeded to the issue of making general revisions in the KUSA rules. The amendment was approved with 74 for, zero against, and four abstaining. As the first update in 57 years, the revisions ranged from typos to the modifications of the rules itself toward a more democratic direction.
