On November 21, the Students Committee for Actualization of the Students’ General Assembly began its propaganda on the arrangement of the assembly, which is planned to be held on November 28. The agendas for the General Assembly are as follows: Resolution for the students of Korea University (KU) to participate in the movement against the Park Geun Hye administration, withdrawal of the plan on the Crimson College (Future College), abolishment of school-system revisions, and requests for the foundation of a democratic KU.

The General Assembly is the highest legislative body of the student society, which can show the collective force of students and make changes within the school’s administration. However, due to the harsh condition of the opening which requires the participation and presence of over 2000 students, it is unclear whether the General Assembly will be arranged or not.

The Students’ General Assembly has been held four times since 2000, and the previous General Assembly was held in 2011, under the agenda of Half-price tuition fees. The Students Committee will work on publicizing the opening of the General Assembly throughout this week throughout the campus, and the 2016 Student’s General Assembly will take place at 3:00 P.M., on November 28, at the Central Plaza.
