Korea University (KU) offered ‘Career Guide Program’ to neighboring high school students for convergence-integration career exploration purposes, which was organized into three separated courses by KU Academy of Human Resource Development–department of the Office of Student Affairs on October 22, 25 and 27.
 
The primary aim of the Career Guide Program is to provide guidance for students to navigate their futures by making occupational choices in a more considerate manner. The programs were held for seven hours each day, comprised of introductory and preparatory curriculums to familiarize students with a variety of convergence-integration career paths along with professions associated with particular major field of studies. KU Academy of Human Resource Development center utilized Career Guide by Major, publication of Korea Employment Information Service.
 
Roughly 119 students from Younghoon, Shinil and Korea University High School were involved in the event throughout, accompanied by KU undergraduate students as mentors. They were assigned into groups for a one-on-one session for open counseling, focusing mainly on university majors and career prospect.
