Cultural activities enrich our lives. They do not have to be fancy—watching movies, playing sports, reading a book; almost anything can be related to culture and self-improvement. There is no doubt that cultural activities influence, and are influenced by, the lives of university students. How often do Korea University (KU) students engage in cultural activities and what are they? These are the survey results that The Granite Tower (GT) collected from 270 KU students.

1. How often do you enjoy cultural activities a month?

1-1. How strong is your desire for cultural life?

2. What is the main cultural activity that you enjoy?

3. Which of the following choices affect your cultural life the most?

Does KU provide enough opportunities for students’ cultural lives?

4-1. Which of the following choices are most helpful?

4-2. What are possible strategies that can enrich KU students’ cultural lives?

Most of the students answered that the school and the Korea University Student Association (KUSA) should promote the cultural events or facilities that already exist more actively because many students do not know how to utilize them to their full extent. Furthermore, a significant number of respondents commented that more monetary investment from KU is needed.
