The Korea University Student Counseling Center (KUSCC) is recruiting participants of a long term psychology project. Named “Making KU Happy” Project, students will go through a mental fitness program as a part of the project. Students can apply for this project through the link provided at the KU web portal, and participants of this project will be subject to psychological examinations and participate in the fitness programs eight times.

Directed by Professor Ko Young Gun (Psychology), this program, according to KUSCC, aims to “teach students skills to make themselves happier.” KUSCC claimed that this project is special in that it is designed just for university students. In this special opportunity, the project aims to teach students how to flourish their mental states by being connected with diverse people of different personalities. Moreover, the project aims to cultivate global leaders by teaching participants how to respect their individualities and enjoy their lives to the next level.

The project aims to instill values which will shape students’ individualities in the long run and allow students to live happier lives. In the midst of numerous social problems that lead to depressive atmosphere, this project will serve as a stepping stone to create a happier environment for the upcoming future generation.
