The homecoming buses which the Korea University (KU) Student Welfare Committee organized has departed Seoul for their designated places this afternoon at 2:00 P.M. The Student Welfare Committee started receiving applicants who wished to utilize the homecoming bus service since August 29.

The homecoming buses headed for 12 different designated destinations, which ranges from Busan to Jeonju. Application for the service was available both online and offline at the Student Welfare Committee office located at the Student Union building. Those who reserved their seats for the bus had to stop by the booth set up by the committee before riding the bus.

Unfortunately, the homecoming bus service will not be able to provide a bus ride back to Seoul at the end of the extended Chuseok break. However, students generally were satisfied by the service provided by the Student Welfare Committee, considering the fact that it is difficult for anyone to reserve spots in any of the public transportation to head back home.

The Student Welfare Committee commented that, “Considering the large amount of students whose hometowns are far from Seoul, we hope that this service is able to be any help for KU students.” The committee also wished the students who took the bus ride home a pleasant ride.
