It is the week every Korea University (KU) students has been waiting for; The Granite Tower Festival(Seoktap Daedongjae) week has finally begun. KU students will be able to participate in various events held by different KU clubs and private corporations and get a chance to purchase some items at a relatively cheap price.

The festival will continue until Friday, the day of Ipselenti, and, much to the surprise of many students, KU has accommodated numerous additional events that were not seen before. Students are now able to ride the Disco Pang Pang for 3,000 won only per person and even participate in a game tournament in front of the Student Union Building.
Besides such big-scale entertainments, KU clubs presented the visitors with simple gaming activities such as shooting games and basketball shooting games. Students are also able to purchase foods such as Patbingsoo, sold by KU clubs.
The stage has already been set up in front of the Student Union Building, but barely any showcases have taken place on the stage yet. The stage will be kept for the upcoming events that will take place in a few days.
Open pubs, so called Joojum, will partially take place today, but students will not be able to witness much joojums today. Don’t forget to bring some cash with you if you want to savor some alcohol in one of the most exciting environment of the year.
